** UPDATE 6pm 18/03/20 **
After the announcement about the closure of school to nearly all pupils, we will need to await more detailed information from the Department of Education. This will arrive tomorrow (Thursday) and when we have made further plans we will update parents accordingly. Many thanks for your patience.

Partial School Closure update for Thursday.
There will continue to be partial closures for the remainder of the week.
The arrangements are as follows;
Thursday 19th March – School closed to Year 8 but open to Years 7, 9, 10 & 11
Friday 20th March – School closed to Year 9 but open to Years 7, 8, 10 & 11
We will continue to review the situation each day and provide a daily update. Thank you for your continued support. If your son/daughter is self-isolating, this should be for 14 days and no members of the family should be in school. If they are self-isolating and the year group is in school, please refer to the google classroom for work rather than emailing in to request work. Extensive work is being prepared by teaching staff and has been submitted on your child’s google classroom. Please let us know if you have any difficulties accessing the work for any reason whatsoever. We are doing everything we can to prioritise the examination preparation for year 11 and unless otherwise directed to do so by the Government, we will remain open for this year group. We are also prioritising Year 7, to minimise any child care needs, particularly for key workers who are parents in the National Health Service. It seems likely that a full closure to pupils is imminent at some point in the next couple of weeks. Therefore, pupils should bring their books home with them each day, in case this happens.
