83% of pupils made at least expected progress in English and 84% in Maths. This represents an increase of 5% and 6% respectively. This is the third year running of improved results against a national picture of falling grades.
Almost a third of all pupils achieved the English Baccalaureate and well over a third of all pupils achieved at least 3 or more A* – A grades.
There were notable individual successes with 21 of our top performing pupils achieving at least 10A* to A and 5 of those achieving at least 10 or more A* grades.
Colm McKavanagh, Head-teacher and Jonathan de Sausmarez, Executive Headteacher said; “ These results reflect the exceptionally hard work which students, staff and parents have put in over the past 5 years. We are so fortunate to have such a fantastic body of staff who really do go the extra mile to make sure students achieve beyond expectations and congratulations are due to everyone who worked so well together.”
