Prize Winners

Nine pupils from The Romsey School have won prizes in a local history competition run by The Romsey and District Society.

The Warner Competition is run annually and prizes are awarded through the generosity of a trust set up by Sybil Warner’s late husband. The main objective of the competition is to get KS3 pupils interested in local history.

Pupils wrote about Romsey Abbey, Romsey Workhouse, Romsey soldiers in World War One and the home front.
